how it began
A bakery first, a café by accident.
Beth started baking sourdough for the neighbours out of her kitchen back in 2019. Word got around, the queue got longer, and one thing led to a little shop with six tables and a very good espresso machine.
"We bake what we'd want to eat ourselves — nothing frozen, nothing rushed."
Today the bakehouse runs from 5am, the coffee's pulled from a house blend we roast up the road, and the regulars have their own mugs behind the counter.
